We've been writing opinion pieces, as well as info pieces, on Harry Potter canon through turn & talks (to brainstorm) and through collaborative efforts!

Practice a bit of division!
We've been working on the bit-by-bit strategy to solve division problems, and so students understand that division can be seen as repeated subtraction!
P.R.I.D.E on the Internet
We been discussing how to show P.R.I.D.E while using the internet, social media, etc. and how to avoid being the one who is throwing out cyber hooks. We also talked about what to do when cyber hooks are being thrown at us. Discussing social etiquette whether in real life or on the internet is always an important topic, and I urge you folks to bring it up more often at home:)
