We started the day discussing efficient strategies to solve word problems that have to do with the multiplication operation:
We then went dove into reading block, and continued to work on the close reading strategy of Notice & Note, specifically noticing the Contrasts & Contradictions signpost as we're reading, in order to have a deeper/better understanding of what we're reading!

And we started to Notice & Note contrasts/contradictions in the story and made an inference for those contrasts and contradictions!
We had a Show Me/Exit Ticket that dealt with word problems, and then afterwards, we discussed coding! We understood that code is essentially different types of computer languages (Java, HTML, etc.) that we can use to program a piece of technology, such as a computer, to do.....our bidding! After that discussion, we started to code!
And near the end of the day we played a game that helps be fluent in our 2s basic math facts and our adding!
