Revising, Editing, & Writing

Happy Monday Folks!

We started the day out discussing the rubric that will be used to grade the animal research project! We analyzed the language component of the rubric in order to see what it takes for a score of 3!

We also looked at a student sample and noticed how the writer used commas to help readers with pauses where they are needed. We also noticed how this writer used punctuation to fix run-on sentences, which is something that we've been editing in our own writing!

During math today, we continued to focus our attentions towards measuring objects to the closest quarter inch, and then using our measurements as data for a line plot! We also brainstormed three questions that can be answered using the line plot we created!

Collaborating to find out shoe sizes in inches!

And that's a wrap up folks! Cheers, and have a good one!

Sneakers with a galaxy print? They're always on point:)
