We started the day out with reading block! We continued to work on determining the main idea by using clues in the title, in the pictures & captions, and in the first paragraph! After determining the main idea, we used the how, what, why, when strategy to locate key details that support the main idea!
During Writer's Workshop we discussed how creating a list is great way to relay information to the audience! After creating a list of what we did over the weekend, we continued to work on other forms of writing!
During math, we continued to utilize decomposing to solve for the product of arrays! We made sure this time to show our thinking/process!
Near the end of the school day, we determined the traits if a character by the name of Jeff from the cartoon Clarence, and we made sure to pull evidence from the cartoon for support!
