We started the day with Writer's Workshop! We are continuing retooling and fixing an informative piece on sharks! We added another part/chapter to our text, and made sure we had plenty of text-features such as headings, sketches & labels, and text boxes!
Those of us that had time after created a list to inform others of activities and events we partook in, over our extended weekend!
Before recess, we had an exit ticket that had to do with the RCDW strategy!
Mr. Dinh baked 7 pies on Monday, 7 pies on Tuesday, 7 Pies on Wednesday, and 7 pies on Thursday. Petey jumped onto the counter and knocked over 16 pies! How many pies were left?
And we continued to work on the RCDW strategy to analyze and solve multi-step word problems!
