We started the day out talking more about Notice and Note strategies for close reading, reviewed two previously-discussed signposts that we should notice when reading, and discuss a new signpost: Words of the Wiser!
We then spent some time on the Lexia and/or Dreambox adaptive learning programs, and segued into continuing to work on our persuasive letters on Google Docs!
We had a presentation right before recess!
During math today, we utilized our knowledge of arrays and multiplication facts to determine the dimensions (length and width) of rectangles when the area is given!
After lunch, we close read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and notice & noted any signposts we came across!
And at the end of the day, we had a round of Star Wars for PE!
