We started the day out, heading to Science Lab with Mrs. Seachrist, and made some observations on various plants in the garden area, and recorded these observations as well!
Afterwards, we had a session in math, and really focused on explaining, through a sequence steps, the process to finding the area of various plane shapes. I reminded the students that on assessments, the solving for the answer is only part of the problem, and the the real meat of the problems are actually the explanation of one's process!
We also did a reading assessment as well as worked on non-fiction reading/comprehension on our laptops:
Near the end of the day, we listened to 4 separate pieces of music and created some freeeeeesh artwork based on the feelings and emotions that music conveys!!
