In the morning, we did a quick info-writing exercises, wherein E-8 Teammates created a list to describe activities they've partook in over the break!
For reading we actively listened to a read aloud in order to notice and note any A-Ha Moments, and make an inference based off of that A-Ha Moment!
For Writers Workshop, we decided to brainstorm some topics and subtopics in order to get ready for the WPA on Friday! We've listed topics in which we know a lot of facts, details, and, definitions on are true... basically any topics that we are true experts on!
During math today, we took a pre-assessment, which entailed telling time on a digital and analog clocks, connecting a given time, in word form, to digital and analog clocks, and solving word problems dealing with time intervals and elapsed time! Pre-assessments informs the instructor on the time and depth needed to teach a topic or unit, and over all, allows for more efficient use of class time!
We had Music with Mr. Volkar today, and focused on understanding the music staff and the notes that go on the staff!
