We started to stay out with Reading block! We read an article together that discusses the disappearance of blue crabs in the Chesapeake Bay. Then we did a close reading of the article in order to analyze the article to determine the causes for the disappearance of the blue crabs. We then used our schema to come up with solutions for these causes! Afterwards, we took all of our information and typed it all out in the form of a short opinion/persuasive piece!
During math block today we got into collaborative groups and took a look at a bunch of plane shapes! In our collaborative groups we classified the shapes into categories based on various attributes! We needed to work together as a group in order to come to a consensus on how the shapes would be classified and categorize!
