We started the day out discussing how to sketch and label in our memo books in a way that will really assist us in explaining/summarizing what we have seen/heard/and/or experienced. I used Indian Jones' guide to the Holy Grail as an analogy to explain the depth and detail that goes in the Sketch and Label strategy!
We then worked on the strategy after viewing part of a clip on the Ohlone!
During reading today, we focused on using clues within the text to help us determine the main idea!

We also had Read-To-Self today, and expressed our thinking while reading by giving examples of cause/effect relationships!
