We started this fine day out discussing the Written Performance Assessment that's happening tomorrow, and what the expectations are for this assessment! We then brainstormed of a small moment that we could write on for tomorrow!
During reading, learning a bit more about the Ohlone Indians by determining the main idea of the text we were reading and close reading to annotate key details that support the main idea!
We also worked on the sketch and label strategy in order to summarize a paragraph from the text we were close reading!
During math block, we collaborated with a partnering order to identify the shaded and non-shaded parts of a whole!
And then we had an exit ticket before heading out to lunch:
Other tidbits we discussed today:
- How to collaborate in order to correct work/homework in class
- Filling buckets by using appropriate tone and stopping, talking, and listening when threre is a disagreement/problem
- Punctuating dialogue
